The War Z

The War Z
Terrible name for a game. This game...
Shady as an umbrella stuck in a northern red oak tree. More on this computer video game software to come. Wow I am glad I waited to buy this game.... Was put off (and on :) by it's out of no where appearance and apparent (?) copying of Day Z.

I think India's gotta be pretty weird

I found a few youtube videos that build evidence for my case.

  • apparently, this is the first time this masterpiece was seen in india.

  • an Indian equivalent of "_____'s got talent"-type programming.
  • things to note
    • shots of uninterested crowd and judges
    • horrendously obvious laugh and cheer tracks
    • random english phrases (aside from the title), such as, "So, please welcome ___ Group from _____" (2:03 mark)

Uwe Boll Vs. James Rolfe

http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uwe_Boll#section_

Just found out about this Boll guy and his dungeon siege movie (and other game movies).... Laugh out loud. Fred Durst looks like his soul mate.

Complete opposite of Filmmaker James Rolfe is what came to mind.

Heavy Liquid

Paul Pope: Heavy Liquid.
I'm not sure what to say about this book, but after reading Pope's closing letter I am left wondering where the drawings he gave away made it to, and wanting more from the writer/artist! I would love to have discovered this comic back in the day and been able to at lease have a chance to win... alas i was 9-10 when this book was coming out so it probably would have blown my mind even more than it has, in a bad way? And maybe that's what I'ma getting at, this book blew my mind. I read 100% first, which came after Heavy Liquid, and have found Heavy Liquid to be more to my tastes. Both of the books DEMAND a reread and further research into the design choices. I showed a 70 something year old man (cubist art fan) the Clowns mask on page 23 of book one. He seemed upset about it being in a comic, but Pope pushes the limit what fine art is with his books. And it's good to have odd neighbors.
ANYWAY
I recommend the this book first for the art, second for the design, third for the story. Pope you are a creative man, and one whose work I will always follow. Inspiring.

If you have a link to any links to information/interviews about the creation of this book please let me know in the comments!

The Most Interesting Thing About Disney Purchasing Lucasfilm?

The most interesting thing about Disney purchasing Lucasfilm and its subsidiaries? No some dumb fantasy about Boba Fett coming back from the dead, not some crying about how Lucas is "raping" (south park joke...) all his films. No.
What the heck does this mean to the people at Dark Horse Comics? This is what I want to know. Dark Horse are the people pumping out all of those Star Wars Comics. Disney owns Marvel. Correct, Disney and Marvel. So what does this mean to the folks Dark Horse?
Looking back on history reveals sad news.

Let me explain.

Once apon a time Boom! published Disney material, and when Disney made the purchase of Stan Lee and Pals the comic duties were eventual transferred to Marvel.
Look out Dark Horse, I feel for you, but you guys (and girls) must have some plan for this?

Right?

In this ign article (http://www.ign.com/articles/2012/10/30/will-star-wars-comics-stay-at-dark-horse) they have "reached out" and grabbed some information from Dark Horse on the news, which is basically, they don't know what will happen.

And neither do I.

Thanks for reading! What do yous guys thinks? Talk to me in the COMMENTS!
<3

Also:
I just hope that Sheila Boof (I don't know/care how to spell his name, talking about the dude from Indiana Jones and the live action Transformers) stays the hell out of anything Star Wars, and anything. forever. k.

David Icke

Ever wonder why the moon stays in the air? Or why it's brighter only every now and then? Truth: the moon is fake and the sun is probably, too.  Obama wants to take away your guns. God bless america.

The Sea and Cake - Coconut

The song has nothing to do with the video (I'm guessing this because it just sounds like he's breathing and whispering sounds with some rhythm), but there are few other things that wrap up my view of the internet in the 90s in such a flattering way.

Metaphor. The Internet is a wormhole ..... Bla bla bla. Or is it like opening up a can of worms?
